Loud beat!

I think you may have lost some of the background instruments in your mastering. When the wargy lead kicks in, everything else is much quieter. Nice, simple song. Subtle changes, nice transitions. A bit repetitive, but I'm probably just a stickler for variation. Also, to me, it ended a bit abruptly, and didn't loop well, so I'm not sure what you were going for with the ending. A solid 8, though, and not a bad track at all. Good work, and keep it coming.

Thanks for the review :) Good advice for me to work on! <3

hmm

I found this after reviewing one of your other songs. I've got to say, this is a very quality piece. I love the effect you used for your guitar. It gives it that 80s ballad feel to it. The ending seemed a little abrupt to me, but I really do like this song. +fav

Nice, mang

You didn't say whether this song was original or not. Either way, it's always nice to see people submitting any form of "real" instruments. Good work.

thanks dude. yeah its an original song. i put it down on the one liner description but it got deleted or something. anyway. thanks again!

Hot damn.

This song sounds so professional it's retarded. I actually listen to this song often on my ipod when I'm out driving. Seems to fit. Most stuff on NG is very repetitive, this however is constantly changing, adding/subtracting, and making me tap my toes.

Thanks! I'd love to continue with dance music someday..

Dang, Rig.

Your stuff always sounds so professional. You're an absolute master at "filling" tracks to make them fill out, even when they're as ambient and spacey as this. Much respect to you. You've definitely been an inspiration for a while now. I hope to see you around some time again.

You be clippin' balls!

Either your compression (or lack of it) has you clipping pretty much from the start, and it leaves the whole track sounding fuzzy. Also, it tends to get very repetitive for 4 minutes of the same lead with random voice clips (of varying quality) throughout. Sort of sounds like you just played with the preset voices on a $80 yamaha keyboard. It's not bad, but I don't really see a whole lot of creativity in this.

I think a lot of people who are here to just "listen" to AWESOME OMG NEWGROUNDS TECHNO wont appreciate this one. Because the synths you chose aren't of the highest, loudest caliber. Me, however, I dig it. I feel like you lost a little control of your synth that starts at 0:46, and it sounds a tiny bit off beat right before the bell comes in. Very new-wave-ish, overall, and a solid 8.

Thanks for your review! You are a good listener - I do have some problems on this audio submission. I'll get back to editing and straighten out the synth you are speaking of and I also found a few things myself. I'll head back to the editing process. Yet, thanks for your review.

So yeah

I've listened to this song many times. One of the few songs from newgrounds I've actually put on my ipod. You did a really clean job on the synths. I feel like durring some of the fade-ins the sound gets a little lost, and some staffs are fighting for space. It would be nice to see you do another like this one, but maybe switch up the synths a little. You've definitely got your own distinct sound, and I'd hate to see you become a one trick pony!

It's alright but

I can't help but feel that this song is severely lacking in cowbell solo.

Cool song, dude!

I like it, it's got a nice beat, and a cool flow. But who the hell is that MerlinsBeard fag? Seriously. Drop him, and you'd go platinum.
